FAQ

1) Can I bring my golf cart, ATV, or side-by-side?

Sorry, no personal golf carts, ATVs, or side-by-sides allowed on any part of the showgrounds.

  • A free handicap shuttle service is available from 7:00 am until 8:00 pm Thursday-Saturday
    and until 3:00 pm on Sunday.
  • A free handicap golf cart service is available from 7:00 am until shortly after the Sparks
    Show Thursday-Saturday and until 3:00 pm on Sunday.
  • A free regular shuttle service is available from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm Thursday-Saturday and
    until 3:00 pm on Sunday. These shuttles go to and from the parking lot.

2) May I bring my dog to the show?  

Service animals are allowed on Club Property. A service animal must be under the handler’s control (leashed or harnessed), housebroken, and trained to perform tasks.

No pets (including emotional support animals) are allowed in the Show Area or to be left unattended in a vehicle on Club Property, including the parking lots. Pets are permitted at campsites only. They must be on a 6-foot leash or shorter and always kept quiet (within reason). There are 2 designated pet areas on the grounds (marked on the grounds map). Please use the one closest to your campsite. Please clean up after your pet.

3) Do exhibitors get charged for admission to the show or get charged for camping?

Exhibitors are not charged a gate fee. All worthy exhibits are allowed two free adult passes, plus any kids 12 and under get in for free. Additional adults and kids 13 and older will be charged admission.

All Exhibitors, Club Members, and Vendors who wish to camp at the show will be charged a one-time maintenance fee of $40.00 per camping unit (e.g., campers, motorhomes, tents, etc.).

4)  How old does my tractor, car, motorcycle, or snowmobile have to be to exhibit at the show?

Farm Tractors must be 1976 and older.
Garden tractors must be 1970 and older.

Antique cars and trucks must be 1970 and older.
Antique motorcycles must be 1970 and older.
Antique snowmobiles must be 1976 and older.

5) What camping facilities are available, and do you take reservations?

Only primitive camping is available, and no reservations are accepted.

6) Can I run a generator on Club Property? When is Generator Curfew?

A designated Generator Camping Area is available. Only generators with a maximum of 68 dB noise level are allowed on Club Property. If a generator is required during generator curfew hours, request a campsite in the Generator Camping Area upon arrival. Generator curfew (quiet hours) for all other camping areas is from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.

7) Can I bring a bicycle, minibike, hoverboard, scooter, etc. on Club Property?

No bicycles, minibikes, hoverboards, scooters, etc. of any kind are allowed on Club Property. No exceptions.

8) Does the Northwest Michigan Engine & Thresher Club make a profit?

The Northwest Michigan Engine & Thresher Club Inc. is a Non-Profit organization.
